OK here's the scoop.

56 Questions 90 minutes. Finshed in 45 minutes with a score of 915. You
need an 849 to pass - no joke, much higher than M$ tests, but I guess Cisco
means something...
3 of which were sims
1- Set Access-list on Router to prevent telnet access from 2 other networks
connected to routers.
2- Company hires consultant to configure 3 routers and now none of them can
talk to each other and no routing takes place. Fix it.
3 - Add a static route to an interface and bring up the interface.

Had a select and place for Binary, Hex, Decimal, ex the hex 9E equals what
Binary, and the decimal 172 equals what binary, (not the real numbers).

About 10 subnetting questions such as what subnet mask for X hosts per
subnet, or 10 subnets need X hosts each, what subnet mask. Also asked about
5 ques on what addresses are host addresses if you have Class A/B/C and
subnet is x.x.x.x, which are broadcast addresses for x.x.x.240 subnet, along
those lines.

When you start the test, it tells you that you have 2 hours, however, 90
minutes is not 120 minutes as I found out when I clicked on Start Test. You
are also advised by the test software that you should not spend more than 10
minutes on a sim. Guess what? I spent 15 on the first because I couldn't
figure out the correct subnets to block incoming traffic from - DUH!
Furthermore, in an effort to PROBABLY crack down on *LameKing* users, (READ:
CHEATERS), (save your proclamations of innocence), the survey at the
beginning of the test, (there's one at the end, too), asks questions about
your level of expertise, (beginner, novice, intermediate, expert), years
working with Cisco Equipment, what category your job title falls under and
what other certs you have. I took this to mean that if you, "Got 1000 marks
and finished in 15 minutes" but you are a beginner, you may have a problem
down the road, or your certificate may have a logo of crossed fingers by the
Cisco logo. I mean, if you have to resort to *LameKing*, et al, then you
probably aren't keen enough to answer accordingly to reflect your "1000
marks."

I took it at a Prometric test center, $125 for the test, $$ for the course,
and big $$$ for practice tests and Router Sim software. On top of 11 years
in the IT industry, the last 2 of which just on networks and Cisco
equipment.

That's it in a nutshell.

Good luck!!!

(in order of importance - CCNA, CNE and MCSE).

WOOHOOOOOOO!!!! Route on, dudes!!!!
