We are now looking to recruit Cisco 1st & 2nd Line Network Support Engineers to work variable shift patterns within our new Global Network Operations Facility in Brno, Czech Republic.

The positions available offer:

We are looking for:
• Experience of customer service ideally gained in a customer facing environment
• Fully CCNA qualified or relevant experience
• English proficiency in both verbal & written form
• Good working knowledge of languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish or Italian
• Flexibility to work shifts (weekends, nights, national holidays)
• Eligibility to work in Czech Republic
• Ability to commence employment 1st March 2010 / 5th April 2010

Job Specification

Purpose of Role

• This role is for 1st Line & 2nd line engineers to provide support for our major customer. Duties and responsibilities listed are not exhaustive

Working hours

• In order to provide a multilingual support 24/7 you will be required to work various shifts. These will be assigned to you by your manager. Weekend work, nights and cover over national holiday is also part of the role or as per business requirements

Principle Duties and Responsibilities in tier 1 and 2:

• Trouble shoot and resolve problems
• Assist your colleagues with excessive volumes of work during busy times
• Network, Configuration, IOS, Security or Access problems
• Logical CPE Problem
• Manage trouble resolution via Access vendors & Internal customer Partners
• Undiagnosed problems beyond Tier 1 Time limit

Technical Skills Profile
A Background in Maintenance and/or Managed Service Sales within the Network arena
An in-depth understanding of service delivery to the highest quality standards
Helpdesk Experience
Cisco CCNA Qualified
Problem resolution will require knowledge of the ISDN methods used for invoking backup solutions, configuration of ACL’s , Troubleshooting COS Issues and working knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP, BGP and EIGRP to troubleshoot routing issues
Candidates with no CCNA will only be considered when able to demonstrate 5 years relevant NOC Experience.
Proficiency in the use of PC systems (Hardware, Operating systems) and applications
