Job Title: Cisco IP Telephony Engineer (3 persons)
Division: Telecommunication Department
Requirements:
* IPT skills, Cisco Call Manager (modify, upgrade & problem determine) Extension Mobility & SRST, dial plans, partitions, call spaces etc.
* Understanding of Cisco voice gateways configured in a Cisco IPT environment (MGCP, H.323, PRI backhaul, SMDI, SRST configuration on gateways, gatekeeper configs)
* Fault finding skills in Cisco Call Managers/IP Phones/voice gateways/gatekeepers/additional adjunct (VG248s/voicemail)
* Experience in using of management tools like NetIQ to monitoring and fault finding within a Cisco Call Manager environment
* Minimum 2 years experience in Cisco IP Telephony
* Experience on Cisco routing & switching.
* Knowledge of Intuity Audix/Cisco Unity/Cisco Call Manager Express would be advantageous
* Understanding underlying network infrasructures to support Cisco Call manager environments (Cisco routing, switching, DHCP, QOS, trunking etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the operations of the Voice Infrastructure, within the guidelines
* Ensure to minimize voice infrastructure failures and maximize availability
* Implement initiatives and processes to increase productivity and reduce operational costs
* Liaise with the vendors for maintenance and support of the voice infrastructure
* Provide support and co-ordinate in closing of security patches in the Vulnerability Threat Management for the countries
* Provide daily operational voice support for all businesses in EMEA using Cisco IPT platform
* Provide support for daily MAC (Move Add changes) on Cisco IPT system
* Provide support in Technical request, contingency rollout and project implementation on Cisco IPT
* Provide solution, recommendation and guideline with relate to business queries
* Perform schedule check and monitoring operations and performances of these systems
* Provide assistance and guideline to the regional in country voice operation team
* Provide support and guideline to the day-to-day operation of the Regional Voice Administration platform
* Provide regular reporting to management on the weekly activities for country report, performance, compliance and ad hoc reports.
* Work with the Voice & Network Engineering to configure Call Manager
* Provide integration and support services for Cisco based IP Telephony projects and installations
