Dear Valued Partner,
We are pleased to announce that Juniper Networks, a technology leader in high-performance network infrastructure, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Trapeze Networks, a technology leader in enterprise wireless local area network systems and management software. The acquisition will make our wireless network technology a key part of Juniper’s portfolio and help accelerate Juniper’s growth in the enterprise networking market.
Trapeze brings not only proven technology but also a strong team with deep industry knowledge and expertise in a market that is projected to grow to more than $3.4 billion by 2014. Our unique wireless technology strengths will help Juniper deliver the most scalable, secure and highly-available wired and wireless infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers.
This acquisition offers significant competitive advantages:
Trapeze’s capabilities complement Juniper’s wire line products and expertise, offering integrated and simplified enterprise wireless network capability.
Trapeze provides an important new component to Juniper’s campus strategy and is critical to Juniper’s differentiation of delivering end-to-end wired and wireless switching infrastructure solutions.
In a recent Gartner Group survey of vendor references, more than 60% purchased their wireless network solutions from the same vendor as their wired networks. Roughly half of these decisions were made as part of a single network decision process.
The acquisition will make wireless network infrastructure a key part of Juniper’s portfolio, helping to accelerate Juniper’s growth in the enterprise market and advancing their vision for the New Network.
Trapeze wireless network technology provides the highest levels of wireless network reliability, performance, security and management for today’s most demanding mobile applications.
Trapeze’s Smart Mobile® technology is highly complementary to Juniper’s campus and branch switching, routing and security business and can provide a seamless, high-quality, secure user experience to a mobile workforce.
This acquisition re-affirms Juniper’s commitment to deliver end-to-end high- performance networking for the world’s most demanding networks.
The integration of Trapeze’s unique and ultra reliable wireless network technology with Juniper’s branch switching, routing and security will enable you to deliver new and differentiated value for your customers.
Recently, Juniper was named the 2010 CRN Annual Report Card (ARC) "Company of the Year" in the highly competitive Enterprise Networking Infrastructure category.
The combination of Trapeze wireless network products and Juniper’s routing, security and switching portfolio, will enable us bring leading mobility solutions to advance Juniper’s vision for the New Network.
It will position Juniper and its partners to deliver the most scalable, secure, and highly available wired and wireless infrastructure for the enterprise market. We are very excited about these events and welcome the growth opportunity ahead of us.
You will be hearing much more from Juniper and Trapeze in the coming weeks about this exciting market and the incremental revenue and profit opportunities this creates for you.
In the meantime you can get additional information about today’s announcement by visiting the Trapeze Networks home page at: www.TrapezeNetworks.com.

Re: Juniper przejmuje Trapeze Networks dostawce rozwiązań WL
H3C to powstale w 2003 roku join venture spolek 3Com i Huawei.
Czyli w 2003 roku powstaje nowy podmiot nazywajacy sie H3C ktorego
udzialowcami sa 3Com i Huawei. W umowie 3Com zastrzega sobie prawo
sposob wiekszosci udzialow. W 2006 roku 3Com odkupuje udzialy od Huawei i
staje sie wiekszosciowym udzialowcem w H3C. Ale Huawei nie proznowalo i nie
chcac tracic kontroli nad H3C oglosil plan kupienia ..... pakietu akcji
3Com'a. Transakcja ta jednak zostala zablokowana przez rzad US ktory
obawial sie wycieku poufnych danych bo sprzet 3Coma uzywany byl przez
Pentagon.
Huawei przestalo kupowac
produkty H3C rozwijajac swoje wlasne w to miejsce a 3Com zostal pozbawiony
zrodla pieniedzy. W tym momencie do gry wszedl HP i kupil 3Com'a stajac sie
tym samym wlascicielem H3C. Natomiast Huawei to calkiem osobny podmiot

Pozdrawiam

Ostatnio zmieniony 16 lis 2010, 22:05 przez mhuba, łącznie zmieniany 1 raz.
Co do własnego portfolio:pkamyk pisze:Huawei to osobny podmiot z wlasnym portfolio.
Podam tylko jeden przykład:
H3C 7500E
Huawei S7800
3Com 7900E
Pozdrawiam

łatwiznę i kupują kolejną firmę
