Sytuacja taka, że w wyniku przejęć, połączeń itd. dostaliśmy po firmie prefixy /25/ i /27 i RIPE podnosi kwestię ich nieużyteczności, argumentując poniekąd słusznie.
Oczywiście niektórzy powiedzą: "A widziałeś po ile chodzą adresy IPv4 na rynku?"I'm writing to check if you would consider returning them to the free pool for the following reasons:
1. the blocks are smaller than /24, so their reachability/usability would be quite limited in case you would try to announce them via BGP on the Internet,
2. the blocks cannot be re-aggregated into /24s, as they are "surrounded" by other blocks that we cannot re-issue as PI or that cannot be transferred,
3. the current RIPE NCC Charging scheme, voted by the LIRs at the General Meeting, requires the payment of 50 EUR extra per PI ASSIGNMENT,
4. the RIPE Community IPv4 Policy allows us to use such small unroutable blocks for IXP peering LANs, where these drawbacks are not a problem, so returning them would contribute to the good of the Internet.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if we can return ... in order to reuse them for IXP assignments.
No widziałem, ale czy tu jest w ogóle inna praktyczna opcja niż oddanie tego?
