GVRP na Cisco SG300

Wiem że to Cisco SG300 to taka trochę zabawka ale...

...próbuję ustawić na nim GVRP i napotykam problemy.

Mam 2 switche połączone 2 portami, konfiguracja poniżej:

GVRP to trochę przeżytek, zestandaryzowana, ale uboga wersja VTP, chociaż tutaj porównanie GVRP do VTP to po prostu pomyłka (brak przekazywania nazw VLANów, security i kilku innych funkcji). Generalnie małe opcje konfiguracyjne.

Obrazek
Aby przekazywać ruch, porty muszą być skonfigurowane do działania w trunk zgodne z standardem 802.1Q (zatem ISL odpada), druga sprawa, jakikolwiek węzeł (host) musi znajdować sie w tym VLANie, aby 2 switch otrzymał informację, że jest taki VLAN.

No i tych dynamicznych VLANów nie możesz usuwać, tylko dostajesz info, że jest VLAN i możesz później statycznie sieć VLAN utworzyć (wniosek na podstawie innego vendora, nie wiem jak cisco).

Witam,

Wiem, że wątek już trochę stary, ale nie chciałem zakładać nowego, bo mam w zasadzie ten sam sprzęt i podobny problem.

Układam sobie przeczytaną wiedzę o GVRP i szukam odpowiedzi:

Czy dobrze rozumiem, że poprzez GVRP nie da się przekazać do innych switchy informacji o manualnym stworzeniu nowego VLANu na jednym ze switchy - jako można to było zrobić w VTP ?
Czy informację o tym, że dany port (w trybie access) został dopisany do danego VLANu z poziomu konfiguracji switcha nie da się rozpropagować?
Czy wsparcie GVRP z poziomu hosta (lub jego karty sieciowej) jest wymagane, by w ogóle móc korzystać z funkcjonalności GVRP? - innymi słowy, czy w rozumieniu protokołu GVRP wszystkie switche są urządzeniami pasywnymi, które reagują tylko na żądania (declarations) wysyłane przez hosty?

Jeżeli chodzi o praktykę, to podłączyłem ze sobą trunkiem (802.1Q) dwa SG350X i włączyłem gdzie się dało GVRP. Tworzyłem nowe VLANy i dopisywałem do nich porty - niestety nie widzę, żeby jakaś informacja o tych zmianach propagowała między switchami poprzez GVRP (mam podobne statystyki jak autor pierwszego postu).

ODPOWIEDZ
