Witajcie,

mam problem z wg mnie dziwnymi opóźnieniami do catalysta 4507. Opóźnienie wygląda jak w poniższym obrazku:

Do przełącznika wpięte jest ok 25 przełączników 2960, robi routing pomiędzy vlanami i tyle.

Co może być przyczyną takich opóźnień, bo widać pewien wzorzec i to mnie zastanawia?

Te procesy akurat mogą i nic to złego nie oznacza.

Wracając... co to znaczy 'opóźnienia'? Co konkretnie mierzysz na tym wykresie? Ping do CPU przełącznika?

Mierzę, narzędziem podobnym do mtr, opóźnienia do hopów na drodze np. do google.com. Załączyłem charakterystykę opóźnień dla pierwszego hopa (mój catalyst) i zastanawiają mnie wg mnie duże wartości 20-30 ms (czasem ponad 200) i ta powtarzalność tych opóźnień, praktycznie co 2 min pojawia się duża wartość później kolejne mniejsze, normuje się, mija 2 min i znów wysoka wartość. Wiem, że odpowiedź na ping nie jest priorytetowa dla urządzeń i stąd mogą się pojawiać dłuższe czasy odpowiedzi, ale ten "wzór" jest ciekawy... Pingi do internetu też się wahają w zakresie +/- 20 ms i szukam przyczyny. Wiadomo, że internet internetem, ale z domu mam stabilne czasy odpowiedzi, a łącza w firmie są od "poważnych" operatorów i po światłowodzie.

Catalyst jest rootbridgem dla wszystkich vlanow, obserwowałem przez jakiś czas i nic się w tej kwestii nie zmienia.

A nie masz przypadkiem założonej qos-policy na control plane? Sam sie tak oszukałem, jak założyłem jakieś bardzo restrykcyjne ustawienia i okazało sie , że przy próbie mtutrace miałem mtu na ścieżce rzędu 500b a co drugi ping nie przechodził, lub przechodził z dużym opóźnieniem.

show policy-map nic nie pokazuje, a z tego co wygooglałem z tego poziomu powinienem widzieć te policy?

Czy problemy jakościowe sa widoczne cały czas czy tylko podczas piku? Od zawsze masz takie problemy w sieci?

Problemy jakościowe są przez cały czas bez związku z pikiem, przetestowałem to przed chwilą, żeby być na 100% pewnym, że na jakość transmisji z internetu niema wpływu obciążenie związane z ruchem lokalnym. Wahania szybkości transmisji są w granicach 40%. Wygląda to tak jakby tcp się rozpędzało, spada, potem rośnie i znów spada itd.

Czy problemy są od zawsze tego nie wiem. To nowa praca.

Tylko zenoss. Wyłączyłem go i nic się nie zmieniło.

Sam odpowiem, w STP zmiana topologii występuje przy każdej zmianie stanu dowolnego interfejsu up/down, chyba, że na interfejsie jest portfast wtedy TCN nie są generowanie i zmiany topologii nie ma. Ja mam na wszystkich interfejsach, na których są hosty portfast, więc włączanie/wyłączenie komputerów nie jest przyczyna zmiany topologii. Ciekawi mnie dlaczego we wszystkich vlanach zmiana topologii występuje w tym samym czasie?
