Mam problem który jest mi ciężko zdiagnozować - nie wiem gdzie leży powód takiego stanu. Nie jestem w stanie podłączyć się do T-mobile na zestawie EHWIC-3G-HSPA+7 w 1921. Próbowałem na 3 różnych SIMach i za każdym razem wywala mi informację:

Próbowałem już tuningu fizycznego - bo może rzeczywiście nie stykała karta SIM - papierki i podgnanie styków nie pomaga.

Przeładowałem firmware na modemie (na taki sam co był - innego na stronach cisco nie znalazałem) - bez zmian.

Może ktoś się spotkał z czymś podobnym - może SIMy T-Mobile z jakiegoś względu nie będą działały na tym HWICu? Może jest potrzebny egzotyczny firmware/software? Na routerze mam:

Sorki, nie zauwazylem ze wrzuciles "all".
U ciebie SIM z t-mobile pokazuje SIM Status = Removed, a powinien byc OK, cos nie tak z karta chyba. Sprawdzales w innym urzadzeniu? Moze karta jest zablokowana w t-mobile?

Karty T-Mobile: 2 sprzed roku i 1 kupiona wczoraj - microSIM. Play: ze 3 lata będzie.

Jest jakiś sposób na sprawdzenie jakie napięcia działają na kartach/modemie? Z dokumentacji modułu jest tylko ISO-7816-2 - czyli parametry fizyczne gniazda.

Wszystkie karty T-Mobile działają w telefonach bez problemu: dzwonią, internet działa - 2 z nich używane na co dzień.

Edit:

Znalazłem w broszurce od Sierra Wireless MC8705, że obsługuje napięcia 1,8V i 3V. Ale czy to coś zmienia? Karty microSIM są chyba 1,8V więc powinno zaskoczyć...

Szukaj różnic między tą kartą a tymi z Play - np. czy na wszystkich jest włączone sprawdzanie PIN? Czy próbowałeś wyłączyć PIN dla karty? Albo dla odmiany włączyć? Czy poza telefonami próbowałeś jej użyć w jakimś modemie?

Przed chwilą włożyłem do modemu USB - działa. Nie jest zablokowana PINem. W momencie kiedy SIM jest niewidoczny nie ma nawet możliwości żeby spróbować ją odblokować. Nie działa żadna z 3 kart z T-Mobile:

2 karty T-mobile są zwykłe - 1 jest zwykła z możliwością wyłamania do microSIM - głównie tą męczę

Teraz to już nic nie rozumiem. Włożyłem do EHWICa SIM AERO2. Niby kartę SIM widzi, ale nic się nie da z modemem zrobić:

Po wyjęciu karty AERO2 działa tak jak działało (czyli nie działa, ale we wcześniej opisywany sposób). Oczywiście przy takim zachowaniu AERO2 internet nie działa. Czy można uznać, że jest ten moduł uszkodzony? Zachowuj się raczej mało przewidywalnie.

Niewiele już pamiętam z samej zasady i działania budowy GSM ale o ile mnie pamieć nie zawodzi bez IMSI nie ma mowy o zalogowaniu do HLR (Home Location Register). A jak widać z poprzedniego IMSI nie zostało odczytane z karty.

W międzyczasie sprawdziłem działanie tego modułu z kartami wszystkich większych polskich operatorów. Żeby było ciekawiej, to udało mi się uruchomić tylko na karcie SIM z PLAY.

Na kartach z Plusa, T-Mobile i Orange objaw jest taki sam: karta jest niewidoczna - jakby jej fizycznie nie było.

Dodatkowo dziwny objaw z kartą AERO2 który opisywałem - resetowanie się modemu.

Tu jest chyba coś nie tak z modemem; jak to jednoznacznie zweryfikować - nie wiem.

Miałem podobny problem z kartą sim od Orange.
Okazało się że pomógł update softu (firmware) dla modułu EHWIC-3G-HSPA-U.
Obecnie lece na nich na sofcie K2_0_7_35AP lub 8775_h2_0_8_19 i wszystko w miarę fajnie działa :) Oprogramowanie do modułu dostałem od mojego partnera Cisco (nigdzie nie mogłem jego znaleźć, a partner przysłał soft o który requestowałem).

Upgrade jest dosyć prosty najlepiej:
